大家好! I’m Angela Liu (she/her), and I’m running for City Council with COPE Vancouver because we need progressive leadership that knows how to fight back and win.

As a lifelong progressive, I got my political start in student activism, went on to co-chair the BC Young New Democrats, and have now spent the last decade of my career working behind the scenes, from grassroots to government, delivering material change for working people.

One of my proudest achievements was helping deliver free birth control in BC!

I’ve worked campaigns at every level of government, starting with my first pollcat job, door-knocking for COPE, under the leadership of Ellen Woodsworth. Most recently, I Managed Tanille Johnston's NDP Leadership Campaign where she made Canadian political history as the first Indigenous person to ever be on a federal leadership ballot.

Throughout my career, I've worked to open doors, lift up marginalized voices, and kept our politics grounded in the communities and people we serve.

If elected, I’ll bring experience, integrity, kindness, creativity, and a deep commitment to equity so that together, we can build a movement that will #EvictKenSim.
